Wignall’s is a well-established and respected local family business. We are seeking an experienced Personal / Executive Assistant to provide high-level support to our Kitchen and Bathroom Studio Manager and contribute to the efficient running of the team.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive administrative and organisational support to the team
-
Prepare professional reports, presentations, and documentation
-
Assist with quotations and contracts, ensuring accuracy and timely distribution
-
Manage remedial enquiries and customer complaints through to resolution
-
Coordinate internal and external communications
-
Track actions and ensure follow-up across retail projects
-
Support day-to-day retail operations with strong attention to detail
-
Handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion
The Ideal Candidate:

Strong organisational and time management skills
-
Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
-
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
-
Proactive, confident and detail-oriented
This is a full-time, office-based role with occasional Saturday as required.
You would be working in a position of trust and responsibility. This is a pivotal role within the team, assisting the manager to deliver the Wignall’s customer experience.

Bench Joiner
About the Role
We are currently looking for a Skilled Bench Joiner to join our busy and growing workshop team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual to work on high-quality, modern interior units and bespoke joinery components in a dynamic and supportive environment
Requirements:

Proven experience as a Bench Joiner
-
Skilled in laminating processes (preferred, training will be given)

Ability to read technical drawings and understand cutting lists

Confident in using a variety of woodworking machinery
-
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
-
Ability to lift and carry panels and materials safely
-
NVQ Level 3 in Bench Joinery

Gold CSCS Card (preferred)

Contract Joinery Estimator / Project Manager
Wignall's Ltd is a joinery company in Heathfield, Newton Abbot looking for a Estimator / Project manager to join their commercial team.
The role will be a permanent position.
The Joinery Estimator / project managers’s Duties and Responsibilities will include:

Providing competitive estimates for bespoke joinery supply and install packages.
-
Accurately cost project/enquiry.
-
Developing client relationships to enhance opportunities to tender, negotiate and enhance tender margins.
-
Liaising with the Client and Design Team during the tender process.
-
Producing sub-contract and material enquires for bespoke joinery.
-
Checking tender documents, making amendments where required.
-
Abstracting information into subcontract and material packages.
-
Identifying scope for design alternatives and value engineering.
-
Attending site surveys when required.
The successful Joinery Estimator / project manager must have:
-
Joinery manufacturing / Wood industry / Bench Joiner experience.
-
A good understanding of the manufacturing process
-
Confidence in dealing with enquires; including communication, reading drawings, using a tape measure, preparing quotations, IT skills.

Part Time Office Assistant
Wignall’s Kitchens and Bathrooms is a well-established, family-run business looking for reliable and organised admin support for our busy showroom and installation team. This role includes some Saturday working as part of a balanced weekly rota.
Key Responsibilities:

Preparing and typing quotations

Managing orders, invoices, and job paperwork

Answering phone calls, emails, and greeting customers
-
Supporting day-to-day office and showroom operations
-
Liaising with installation teams as required
About You:

Previous office or administrative experience (essential)

Confident using Microsoft Office
-
Well organised with strong attention to detail
-
Friendly, professional, and customer-focused
-
Sage experience helpful but not essential
